Frequently Asked Questions
- Instrument Lessons: Each lesson is 30 minutes long. During this time, your teacher will cover
techniques, help you with the song youre practicing, and assign homework to work on
before the next lesson. - Music Theory Classes: These are group lessons that last 1.5 hours, held on either Saturday
or Sunday. - English Conversation Club: Each session lasts 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Instrument Lessons:
- After you choose your day and time and complete your payment, you will receive a welcome
email with a link to your enrolment form. - Complete the form with your student details and confirm your booked day and time. Your
lessons will be at the same day and time each week. - Follow the instructions on the form and acknowledging terms of service. Take note of any
books and equipment suggestions for your first lesson. We offer products for your
convenience. - Once we receive your completed submitted enrolment form, your assigned teacher will
contact you within 48 hours, preferably by email. - Your new teacher will arrange your start date. You can discuss with your teacher when to
begin and whether you have purchased your instrument and when it will arrive. - Your teacher will send you a Zoom invitation link 24 hours before your lesson.
Lesson Time:
- Make sure to sign in on Zoom at least 5 minutes before your lesson. It is best to use a tablet,
laptop, or computer. - Please point your camera at your instrument so your teacher can see what you are doing.
Note: Online students will receive a visit from a teacher once every 8 weeks for quality checks. The
teacher will ensure that students are using the correct techniques to prevent bad habits.
Music Theory Classes:
- After you choose your course and make payment, you will receive a welcome email with a
link to your enrolment form. Courses start on fixed dates throughout the year. - Complete the form – student details and confirm your booked grade and time. Your lessons
will be on the same day and time each week. - Follow the instructions on the form. You will need a specific book for your classes, which you
can easily purchase from our website. - Once you submit your completed enrolment form, your teacher will contact you within 48
hours, preferably by email. You will be informed about your course start date and how to
prepare.
Example: If the next course starts in November and a student books the month before in October,
the student will be enrolled in the November course and will begin in November.
